Serena Fraiese

She is a post-doctoral research fellow at the University of Salerno. Her interdisciplinary research focuses on Digital Governance and Digital Twins, Cybersecurity, and Digital Sovereignty in the MENA region. She has served as an adjunct professor, teaching courses in International Law and International Human Rights Law, International Relations, Conflict Prevention and Resolution, and Institutions of French-speaking Countries. In 2018, Serena earned her Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Rome “La Sapienza”. Before her Ph.D. (2005-2016), she worked in conflict and disaster-affected regions with various international NGOs, holding key managerial roles that demanded high-level coordination, security management, and educational initiatives.
