Riccardo Nanni – Faculty SWING 2025

He is a researcher in data governance at the Digital Commons Lab of Fondazione Bruno Kessler (Trento, Italy). He holds a PhD in Political and Social Sciences from the University of Bologna with a thesis on the role of Chinese stakeholders in Internet governance. In 2024, he published Rising China and Internet Governance. Multistakeholderism, Fragmentation and the Liberal Order in the Age of Digital Sovereignty with Palgrave Macmillan. He teaches “Technology, Politics and Human Rights” at the MA Human Rights and Multilevel Governance of the University of Padova.
