Workshop on Framing Digital Sovereignty: A Multidisciplinary Dialogue

On May 16-17, 2024, the University of Padova hosted the “Framing Digital Sovereignty: A Multidisciplinary Dialogue” workshop, organized by Professor Claudia Padovani. This event marked the first workshop of our PRIN project on Digital Sovereignty, a collaborative effort between the University of Salerno and the University of Padova.

The workshop featured a keynote address by Hent Kalmo and included a comprehensive series of talks from experts in various fields, including engineering, political and legal philosophy, and history. This multidisciplinary approach facilitated rich discussions on the complex and evolving concept of digital sovereignty. Our research unit at ICPC contributed to this dialogue trough the presentations delivered by our ICPC members Mauro Santaniello, Serena Fraiese, Armando Ferrentino, and Carlos Fonseca.
