Andrea Pettrachin – Faculty SWING 2025

Andrea Pettrachin, PhD, is Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Turin, where he is working on the Horizon project ROBUST, and Adjunct Professor at the University of Padua, where he is teaching a course in ‘Digital Innovation and Society’. He has previously worked as postdoctoral researcher in five European research projects at the Collegio Carlo Alberto, at the European University Institute and at the University of Bologna. He holds a PhD in Politics awarded in 2020 by the University of Sheffield, supervised by Prof. Andrew Geddes. His research mostly focuses on migration policy and the governance of crises. As of October 2024, he has published a monograph with Palgrave Macmillan and 20 articles in international academic journals, including, among others, Policy Sciences, the Journal of European Public Policy, Policy Studies, Governance, and the Journal of Comparative Policy Analysis.
