UNISA Students Participate in Blended Intensive Programme on Digital Constitutionalism and the UN Global Digital Compact
Under the supervision of our director Mauro Santaniello, four students of the University of Salerno recently took part in the in-person component of the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) “Digital Constitutionalism and the UN Global Digital Compact.” Held from April 22 to 26, 2024, at the University of Bremen, this event provided a unique platform for students from various European universities to engage in discussions on digital developments and global policy processes.
The BIP, organized by the Digital Constitutionalism Network (DCN), is part of a teaching partnership initiated in 2019. This program offers students both virtual and in-person opportunities to explore the intersections between digital constitutionalism and the UN Global Digital Compact. The 2024 BIP is dedicated to equipping students with theoretical, analytical, and methodological tools to understand the values and principles guiding regulatory arrangements for the digital age. This includes those proposed in the consultation process for the UN’s Global Digital Compact, set to be agreed upon at the September 2024 Summit of the Future.
The ICPC is proud of the active participation of our students in this prestigious program, which not only enhances their academic and practical knowledge but also contributes to the broader discourse on digital governance.
